More fun in the sandwich
My father is having surgery tomorrow. The, um, same father that takes care of my mother. The same mother that, you know, can’t be alone (advanced lung cancer). So, the next 2 days involves the precision planning of 3 sitters, my husband, my 80 year old mother-in-law, and, me.
It also involves me getting up at 4am tomorrow to begin all this fun. So, what are you still doing here? I need to get some sleep, and, so do you.
Well, I’m two or three hours behind you, so that’s why I’m still up.
It doesn’t seem like it’s letting up for you anytime soon, does it? My best wishes and prayers for your father’s swift recovery.
I’m at work right now. Hope I’m not still here when you’re up to take your dad for surgery!! Hope everything goes groovy.
