More Junkin with Corks

Corks have more uses than I could have imagined. If you’ve missed the previous cork posts here, you can find them now at my Roundup of Cork Posts.

But here’s an adorable cork use to add to the pile. TheCraftyWino at Etsy used corks as roofing material for a birdhouse. It’s called Cardinal Birdhouse with a Corky Roof.

Do you see that the corks say “Cardinal Point”? Cute.

Linette at Mother Earth’s Garden has another great use for corks.

I’ve had this one bookmarked for a few weeks. She throws corks into her plants to help the plants retain moisture!

I like the look too. Too bad my cat would bat them out. Wait… I don’t have plants since my kitty broke so many pots I gave it up! :)

Thanks for the mention:) The corks work great, but they don’t stop animal damage, lol, my dogs chomp on mine once in a while (the plants not the corks). They haven’t found the corks yet;-)

Linette, So dogs do that too! I had more of a problem with digging, and subsequent pot breaking.

ok for a birdy cute item, this is pretty neat. I can’t believe they got the right corks for the cardinal issue. That’s cool.
