More on Flu Season: Staying Healthy at the Office

Yesterday I posted on Biz Chicks Rule about ways to avoid other people’s germs in the office. Here’s the short version:

  • Wash your hands after touching doorknobs, copiers, elevator buttons, and phones
  • Don’t touch your face, including rubbing your nose or eyes
  • Try not to shake hands if you can avoid it
  • Stay away from sick people in the office and on your way to work
  • Stay away from people with sick kids
  • Wipe down your phone, mouse, desk surface, and keyboard regularly
  • Use your own pen
  • Stay hydrated
  • Take a multivitamin
