Yesterday I posted on Biz Chicks Rule about ways to avoid other people’s germs in the office. Here’s the short version:
- Wash your hands after touching doorknobs, copiers, elevator buttons, and phones
- Don’t touch your face, including rubbing your nose or eyes
- Try not to shake hands if you can avoid it
- Stay away from sick people in the office and on your way to work
- Stay away from people with sick kids
- Wipe down your phone, mouse, desk surface, and keyboard regularly
- Use your own pen
- Stay hydrated
- Take a multivitamin
