Jose Stable, who is charged with allegedly killing his 12-year-old son Ulysses Stable in the early morning of November 22nd, told police that demons had been talking to him for the past week and that they told him to “‘put his son out of his misery.’” As reported in the November 24th New York Daily News, first informed the police that “‘My son has been killed!’” before confessing that he had “buckled under the stress of caring for Ulysses” and that he had killed his son. Ulysses’ mother, who moved out several years ago is being searched for; police sources say that she is a crack addict.
60-year-old neighbor Awilda Soto noted that, earlier this month, Stable had asked her to take care of Ulysses. “‘I can barely take care of myself,’” he is reported to have said.
