According to a study which was done by the University of Hawaii located in Manoa, their facts show that the recycling rate went up higher as the number of recycle bins went up in workplaces. The study also furthermore disclosed that the more recycling programs there was, the more educated people got with regards to recycle. This, in effect, brought about a higher recycling rate.

The report also continued, “The study found that when recycling bins were introduced for the first time, the number of empty bottles and cans discarded into the regular trash dropped over 70%. That brought the overall recycle rate to 87%.”
