I don't think that it's promoting women that are of a bigger size. I think more so it's trying to let people know that they don't have to be a perfect size 5 or smaller to deserve love or a chance at finding love. I think the idea of regular people is interesting, Eliza. I watched this one show on ....Discovery, I think, TLC maybe, anyway, they showed some divorced moms with kids and they got to each pick some men from a group - these were all nice-looking people, but regular folks. They went on some dates, met the kids, met the man's kids. As a dating mom, I am curious about how other women handle a social life. I like the idea that they are using curvy women for the show. Why do you think it is horrifying Patrick? Because they are all shapes and sizes? You know I really do wish they'd do just regular people and pull them off the streets and see if they'd match up to someone. Does that make sense Michelle? I mean instead of picking 10 hot guys or 10 fat/ugly/professional guys/girl to see who matches, try grabbing a handful and seeing what happens. Or maybe do what Love Connection once did. Have them all hidden for a few weeks or blindfold the host (womean/man) and see which one they'd pick. Okay I know I'm blabbing but I think it would be really neat to watch and wouldn't look so staged.
