Most Important Things for Your Relationship

Thanks to the great prompt generator over at Creativity Portal here’s another journal writing prompt to get you writing. Write a list of the 10 most important things in your relationship. Really think about this. Try to hone in on what is important to you, not just to your relationship. If ten is too many try for eight. I found the first five fairly easy, but had to dig for the last five.
I also challenge you to do this twice; once while you’re feeling pretty good and the second time when you’ve just had an argument with someone. I’m curious if your list will be at all different. I know mine was. I wrote my ten most important things list about my relationship with my partner. I did this when I was feeling good yesterday. This morning we had an argument. When I was out grabbing some shopping and a moment to write in my journal with a coffee, I made another list. At least four of those things were different to the original list. I may even create a visual page about this list.
How about you? Share your list if you like by leaving a comment or a link to your blog in the comments section below.
