Mother’s Day Brawl Over a Crying Baby
What have we become? I was reading a post over at Daddy Daze that peaked my interest. Adventure Dad actually has the story. Apparently there was a baby that wouldn’t stop crying in a Toledo restaurant. Mothers began fighting, throwing chairs, and the police had to evacuate the place. There were 200 guests who were asked to leave.

First off I am sure the mother was rude enough to sit there and do nothing. And yes I am sure it was very irritating and I am sure I would have been really upset if I was trying to have a nice dinner and a baby kept crying. But this is a place of business and if the mother and child were so out of line then they should have spoken to the Manager or Owner of the restaurant.
If there were enough people who complained then the mother would have been forced to take her baby elsewhere.
What are your thoughts on this one? I think fighting and throwing chairs is a little much.
first off the customers could have spoken to the manager but she didn’t and what would you prefer a crying baby or a child running around terrorizing everyone. Not only did the annoyed patron not complain to management she threatened the mother and child with a steak knife so I say she got what she deserved . yes I know it is an embarrassment to our city but sometimes people are out of line. And the instinct of a mother is to protect her child maybe it went to far but what the media failed to mention is the mother only pushed the knife bearing patron away from her child.
