Motivate Me Monday – Getting Back on Schedule

Well, this Motivate Me Monday post is actually for me today. I need some major motivation! Ever since we moved I have not been able to really focus on my blog Declutter It! Mainly because of the lack of time and a schedule for me and the kids. I usually find myself blogging at 11:00 at night and although I am a night owl, my 3 year old is not, which means early mornings.
This move was harder on my family than I expected and I just haven’t been able to bounce back and feel myself again. After some discussion with my husband, we have decided to move back to Georgia. There are a number of reasons why, but basically this was the worst time we could have decided to make a transition like this.
This move first started out as a summer trip and then turned into a move and well, now it’s a summer trip again. Luckily my husband and the majority of our belongings are still in GA in our home that hasn’t sold yet. I knew there was a reason it wasn’t selling!
Why am I telling you all of this? For a couple of reasons really. Number one, when you make major life decisions you really need to think things through. We made this decision on a whim and it has come back to bite us. I am good at organizing physical stuff, but my thoughts need organizing from time to time too.
The second reason I’m telling you this, is that I am really looking forward to getting back home, getting back on a blogging schedule and writing some great organizing articles. I feel that I have let my posting slip and I am not giving you all the great organizing advice that you need. Well that is going to stop!
If you have any organizing questions, please send them to me. I have several lined up that I will answer some time next week. We are leaving Texas this coming Friday and will be back in GA by Saturday. I can’t wait to see my organized home!! My husband has been working hard to get it all ready for potential buyers and now that we’re not selling it, I get to enjoy all of his hard work. I also miss my kitchen. I LOVE my kitchen! I’ll have to take some pictures of it and show you how I personally organize my home.
Please wish us luck as we make another transition. Our kids are actually very excited to be moving back. They have missed their home, their rooms, their trampoline and their friends very much. They have already called their best friends and told them the good news.
Well, off I go to pack again. Thankfully I didn’t bring the whole house with us but as I look around, it sure feels like I did. I guess those space bags I bought are going to get some good use out of them. I’ll pop in with a few posts before we leave. Thanks for listening!

Hi Julie
You sound very excited about the move – rather you than me
At least you have your kitchen to look forward to – that is a biggie!
I wanted to wish you all the best for your move and also to ask you a quick question? How does the organising carnival work? I would like to submit some posts for consideration.
Will you email me (when you get a moment)?
Thanks so much
Marcia
