Move First and Then Take a Holiday
There are a lot of really smart Moms out there and just this morning I found another one. She is getting ready for a big move to a new house. Their plan is to shift everything to the new location and then take a two week holiday. I think that if I had done that, I would have been much more prepared for sorting things out and finding new spots for everything. As it was, I was so frazzled from trying to keep the old house neat for prospective buyers, a holiday would have been the perfect answer. And as we moved in December… heading south for Christmas would have been perfect!
