My Craft Room Makeover

With the purchase of my ‘new’ (err, old) cropping table, I knew another craft room makeover is in the cards for me so here for the nth time in 2 years is my the current set-up of my studio as of 14th August 2005. My last makeover was in January this year.
I wish I had Becky Higgins’ studio. I know her studio is different now too as she had a makeover done sometime late last year. But since I don’t have access to all the goodies that she has, I’d settle for my own haven.
I love my craft room. It’s so calming. I have everything I need — my stash, TV, radio/CD player, the computer — what else can a woman ask for?
If you know me, I obsess about the set-up of my craft room every chance I get
I wonder how long this will last me.
The computer workstation is also on the far side of the room that houses my beloved Canon wide format printer.

My rub-ons and other embellishments are hanging on the wall. I am working on a project at the moment, the outline of which is also on the wall for easy access.
My embellishments are divided into 2 containers — one for the non-words and the other for all my alphabet and word stickers. My adhesives are in the cute shopping trolley.
My paper shelves. The 4 stackable drawer house my Fiskars templates, scraps and other what-have-you’s. The blue boxes on the shelves are my photos waiting to be scrapped. The big plastic container above the paper shelves are some of the bigger stickers and other scraps.
My ribbon holder, sizzix die cutter and accessories. I’ve also got another embellishment box on the far right. What I want to do is house all my embellishments in a wooden filing cabinet so that they are all in one place.
My 2-seater couch we got second hand but it was hardly used it looked brand new when we got it. Beside it is the TV and Xbox. Behind it are more shelves for my collection of teddy bear soft toys, photo albums, scrapbook and housekeeping magazines and other knick-knacks.
My view of the garden from my studio. On a nice day, the sliding doors are open so I could smell the freshly cut grass, listen to our canaries from the aviary singing their little hearts out and look at the clear blue sky (it was overcast when I took this photo!
Till the next makeover!
