My First Shades
Built to last, fun to wear, My First Shades provide vital sun protection for childrens’ eyes, while also starting them down a long path of sun safety. The sunglasses are attached to a neoprene band which holds the glasses closer to the child’s face, more securely in place and, ultimately, minimizes peripheral light that can lead to eye damage. These shades help children (from newborn to age 12) decrease their risk of sun damage to their eyes that can eventually lead to impaired vision, cataracts, and blindness.

My son is very sensitive to light and loves to have headbands around his head. He’s on the autism spectrum so that might explain his seemingly odd aversion to headbands. Dare I say this is the perfect product for him?
