My Massive Low Blood Sugar the Night Before Thanksgiving

Hey Guys,

I’m back from the long Thanksgiving weekend…………… ah…………….

Did you get to take any time off? I hope so. I’ve learned that my blood sugars are much more manageable when I rest and take life at a reasonable pace.

I want you all to know that I did say a prayer for all my fellow diabetics out there! I want you all to be happy, healthy, and strong!

Of course, the night before Thanksgiving, I was thinking about all the stuff I had to do and feeling a bit overwhelmed. Wouldn’t you know it, I had a massive low blood sugar that night. Ugh. Doesn’t it figure?

It didn’t matter, though, My family and I had a lovely day and I hope you did too.

I came across this quote that I think you might enjoy:

There are no miracles for those that have no faith in them.
— French proverb

For me, every day is filled with miracles. The fact that I’m a diabetic during a time when we know so much about the disease and we have the use of insulin is truly a miracle. And for those that hope, we might be able to call a cure a miracle one day too. One day…..

For now, I’ll be back in a bit with all the latest diabetic news. Until then, be sure to check out the Diabetes Notes Shopping Page for some great items for the diabetic in your life!
