My Son, The Budding Geneticist
This past week, my son’s class took a field trip to the local church as part of their religious studies curriculum (I can see PZ Myers cringing right now). Here’s a picture of the church my four-year-old drew complete with stained glass windows and Baby Jesus labeled with RNA?! And for you Star Wars fans, he put in a gratuitous R2-D2 and C-3PO down at the bottom for no reason whatsoever except that he likes those droids.

It doesn’t really look like he wrote RNA, but instead RNR.
If you compare the A on the supposed RNA, it’s identical to the R in R2-D2.
Supposedly Jesus was catching up on some R’n'R?
Rick: You are GOOOOD. He later told me that it was supposed to be an R and gave me the same look you’re giving me right now. Yes, I’m desperate for my child to become a scientist. ha ha ha
Your interpretation of Jesus and R’n'R is excellent.
Tooooooo cute. You have a talented young man there. My children have zero interest in genetics, maybe because they can’t even stand to talk about “the birds and the bees.”
Rebecca: lol I’ll have to share my brainwashing techniques sometime!
