Ouch. That hit close to home....

This article about Writer's Self-Sabotage really hit close to home. I've been musing over whether or not to attempt year three of Nanowrimo, and part of the whole difficulty is that I've done it for two years in the past...

I reckon go for it. You can get around to editing those novels some other time. Grab some of that NaNoWriMo motivation while it's happening. I think I learn something new each time I write a novel. If I wasn't so busy I'd definitely be doing it this year, again. Let me know, so I can follow how you're doing. ;-)

I've done nanowrimo the last two years, completing it each year...and as a result, I have two 50,000 word drafts that desperately need editing. I'm torn about this year; attracted to the idea of doing it again (it was pretty easy last year) but at the same time feeling like I really should finish what I started with the other two. Maybe editing 100,000 words in a month should be my goal? Not really sure.

What do you think?
