Like bubbles? At my house, we absolutely love them. So, we were excited to find that National Bubble Week starts on Friday, which is the first day of Spring. That’s right. A whole 7 days to blow bubbles like crazy. Looking for ways to celebrate?

How about a trip to your local children’s museum? I know the Long Island Children’s Museum in New York has a whole bubble center and Port Discovery in Baltimore has a Wonders of Water exhibit that includes a bubble hoop.

(To find a children’s museum near you, check the listings at the Association of Children’s Museums. I discovered several new ones that are being built near me in the emerging museums listings. )

If you don’t have a children’s museum with a bubble center nearby, you can make your own bubble center with a giant bubble hoop and a tub of bubble solution. Or you can buy a bubble machine. We have the Gazillion Bubble Machine by Funrise and we love it.

Another fun thing to try is making bubble prints on paper using bubbles, food coloring, a straw and blank paper.
