I am still new to putting my pictures online and changing them around. I really like that you can change the lighting and even change the color of people's hair! I am not srue what I would change, it seems to have everything.

I've never used Piknik before so I'm guessing here. But I would really like a way to write text over a photo if that's possible. (Am I showing my lack of knowledge or is that a good idea?)

I don't have a membership to Picnik so I don't get to see all the "extras" thus I can't really say what I would like to see on Picnik since I don't know really what all they have.. I did look around but that still doesn't give you a real idea of what they have.. The stuff you get to do for free is pretty basic stuff but still very good but limited (of course).. Thus, my idea is perhaps Picnik should give a free trial membership to first time users (or such).. For example, you get a free two weeks or month to test out all the "extras"...

Hi

First of all I wanna say why Online Photo application is much batter then Software.

I just founded my own small software company in Jan-09 and we do provide back IT handling & office support to SMEs. there are 15 people working, including me for our clients day & night. Recently one of our client need some Flier designs for its campaign and he was searching for some freelancer for the job. We are handling his IT department. I come to know about my client needs. Now one of my team member having a good grip in Photo work so I told him to design some good Fliers for the client so he did some designing work in Picnik app. we used the basic Picnic app that is free and he created some very good 5 or 6 Flier designs.I also provided some suggestion that can help him. I download all the designs and send it to our client. he liked some of the designs and he send it back the selected designs to us via email with some suggestion notes. we follow his suggestions and redesign the Fliers and again we send it via email. at last he liked two of the Fliers design and he selected it for his ground campaign. well we didn't charge anything for this work we're happy because our client was happy but because of this our client was very happy and for immediate effect he extend the contract with us for another two years. That's the reward we got.

Our experience with picnik app was very good. Its a online app so we can work anywhere from any computer which support browser. it's much batter then software because we don't need to do any software upgrade & most important easy to use. no buddy receive a training for it. just by playing with it you can be a expert.

Now about the features suggestion: the priority feature picnik can add is Coloration. As you just see that we had to download the work and have to email to our client. Photo sharing is not the solution because of client privacy. Add a feature where we can assign our team members for editing rights or suggestion rights in our account so they can work on the same project by using their picnik username & allow to post some suggestion notes within the application so when any team member login to picnik app he can see the suggestion about the designs and according to that he can work further. By this we can save time in downloading, uploading attachments, emailing & getting feedback & suggestion. also provide a feature where we can provide guest assess to our clients so our client can also see the work and according to that can provide some suggestion. I think nobody provides coloration in photo editing and Picnik is online app so it having a grate advantage to do that.
