National Treasure: Book of Secrets

Yay! I finally got to see National Treasure: Book of Secrets today. Hubby was keen to come with me as we’d both enjoyed the first National Treasure. I love the puzzles to solve, the comic quips, and the sense of adventure. But it’s really the escapism factor that makes it a fun movie to watch. In particular I loved the inclusion of an old diary and a secret diary. Although I didn’t think this sequel was quite as involved as the first movie I would still recommend it as a good couple of hour’s entertainment.
Please leave a comment if you’ve seen this movie. Let me know what you thought.

I did see the movie, and I enjoyed it! I agree, it was not quite at good as the first one…but still, a great movie on its own.
Hi Amanda,
Thanks for sharing your comment. Did you just love the way that secret diary looked? Would like one of those myself.
Me too! I loved the way the cover folded over–I also wish that my handwriting looked like that.
Hi Amanda,
Yes, it was a really lovely old looking book. And the handwriting was just gorgeous, too. My handwriting looks nothing like that, either.
This movie had more action than the 1st film did. In this sequel ben Gates tries to prove that his Great – Grandfather was not involved in Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. There’s history, drama, and nonstop adventure! i smell a NT3 coming!
Hi Lisa,
I will definitely be there if there’s another National Treasure movie. Thanks for commenting.
