National Wear Your PJs To Work Day?
Recently a colleague over at StartUp Nation asked how one goes about getting a national holiday instated, such as National Grandparent’s Day, or National Secretary’s Day, etc. (I once started a whole day’s worth of chatter because I said it should be administrative assistant, rather than secretary).
I do not have a clue as to who in Washington has authority over deciding which days pass and which don’t…I wonder, though if the Department of Homeland Security might be a place to start?
I do know this: there definitely should be a National Wear Your Pajamas to Work Day. Wouldn’t that be great? I don’t think there is anything better in life than a good pair of pjs. Except maybe a good pair of socks.
Yes, yes…dressing for success is what I preach here…but on those days when the temperatures start to dip and you don’t even want to leave the house…if your boss told you you could wear your favorite jammies to the office…wouldn’t you be thrilled?
There would of course have to be some rules: no feet pjs and nothing Victoria’s Secret-looking, no flannel shirts and NO sweat pants.
Here’s a good example from Sleepy Heads:

While you’re at it, get a matching robe and cosmetic bag…and don’t forget slippers!
