May 10-16th has been declared National Women’s Health Week. If you live in the Henry and Stark County, Illinois areas you can help celebrate by making a few changes for a better life. The Health Department says women should get at least “2 1/2 hours of moderate physical activity, 1 hour and 15 minutes of vigorous physical activity, or a combination of both each week.” In addition to exercise, women should eat more fruits and vegetables, get regular breast exams, and avoid risking behaviors like drug use and driving without a seat belt.
