		<description>I agree Jen, I watched a 20/20 or primetime or something on it and they interviewed a lot of the parents who did this -  most of them could not afford the mental health treatments that their children needed - it was a choice in some cases, between the safety of the rest of the children in the house and the shame of doing it.</description>

		<description>Actually the law just changed back to infants 30 days old and younger.  What happened in that state speaks volumes to me about our failed public health system.  Many of the children dropped off suffered severe emotional trauma, or chemical imbalances and their parents were not able to receive adequate help due to lack of insurance and/or resources.  Sad stuff.</description>
