New American Heart Association Campaign For Women- Symbolic Paper Dolls

I reminded everyone I knew and yes I was probably annoying but I am continually amazed at how many do not know the prevalence of heart disease among women. It is the #1 killer, yes number 1!!! In fact heart attacks and strokes will kill more women then the next 5 causes of death combined. That is one scary fact…

The American Heart Association has launched a new campaign during the month of February (which by the way is American heart month). I joined the campaign of ’symbolic paper dolls’ and I hope you take a second of your day to do the same. And by all means pass this on to any women in your life that you care about- it is so darn important!

To get the attention this issue deserves on Capitol Hill, we wanted to do something more than just a petition. We launched a symbolic paper doll petition. Each Paper Doll represents a supporter speaking out for HEART for Women Act so we can demonstrate to Congress the widespread support for this legislation across the country. Already our paper doll chain is 70,000 strong! And we’ll be at it until the legislation passes, with the help of thousands of people across the country.
