I think we are on the same page here. :D I felt like I lost a lot of myself in my marriage. My husband was attracted to me because I was funny, but later it annoyed him that I was funny. I don't know what it was about the funny that he didn't like, but I do know that I cut that part of my personality out. My family missed it and when I was single again, I had to work at being me again. It was very odd. Happily, I think my funny bone is 87% recovered. ;D Great post, Lara!
