New Journal Purchase

Last Friday I made a trip into Perth city and the Borders store to purchase a new journal. I ended up with a smaller one than I originally intended. I’ve been too busy lately to grab a good photo, but here’s the style of journal on the Paperchase website.
I hope to get a photo so you can see it tomorrow. I started using my new journal yesterday.

Hi Heather
Enjoy your new journal! The flexible linen looks very appealing! Linen is such a lovely fiber.
I have been having a wonderful time making all kinds of handmade books, so I have been approaching journals from a slightly different angle. There is such magic in journals and journaling!
Hi Noreen,
I have to say the linen feels wonderful, too. If I could’ve afforded to, I’d have looked harder for a larger one in the linen. I am enjoying it. Please share in the comments if you have pictures to show of your handmade journals. Would love to see them and share with my readers. Thanks for commenting.
Hi Heather
I have a whole series of handmade journals, and the instructions on how to recycle/reclaim used paper to make the journal. They are really fun to make and very inspiring!
The series begins at:

Hope you enjoy it!

Hi Noreen,
Thanks for that. Look out for another entry highlighting your handmade journals soon.
Thank you so much, Heather! I am having the most wonderful time making these handmade journals! It’s just great! What happens though, is that I make one, and that gives me ideas for at least six more!
Hi Heather,
I found your post while searching for Paperchase journals. I just purchased one at a Borders in Albuquerque, NM, USA. It is for my 3-year old son. The journal is meant to last until he graduates high school, 15 years from now, with each teacher writing him a little note at the end of each grade. I am wondering if you know whether the Paperchase journals are archive quality w/acid free paper, etc. This journal has a fabric cover with robots on it. I cannot find it on the Paperchase website, so have sent them an email inquiry.
Thanks for your help.
