New moms are often overtired, stressed and worried. They struggle to keep up with cleaning the house, grocery shopping and other chores while suffering from enough sleep deprivation to make boot camp seem like a picnic. So, while they’re sure to appreciate nice flowers or a card, why not give the new moms in your life an invaluable Mother’s Day gift?

That’s right. Your time. You could offer it in the form of a coupon book to redeem later or you could simply make a few quick stops the week before Mother’s Day to drop groceries at the door or pull the empty trash can back to the house.
Don’t have time of your own to give? Try hiring an errand service to help out for a few hours. Errand services can drop off and pick up dry cleaning, shop for groceries and put them away and even address the thank you notes from the baby shower. (Just a quick hint – a maid service is only a good choice if you know the new mom won’t think the gift is a hint that her house is dirty…)
