OK people – since spring has arrived – and its project season again. This weeks poll is all about springtime activities. Please vote in the poll, to let us know what you will be undertaking this season. If your particular project is not listed – then add an answer.
Don’t forget to come back to this post, and explain in detail what you will be doing.

My project is my body. I’m doing a lot of raw foods aside from the occasional bout of fritos. BUT I feel pretty good. I’m shocked because I’ve done raw before and had a lot of pain and felt crappy.
I think doing a lot of raw food along with the acupuncture is working out. For easy recipes (like smoothies) go to http://www.goneraw.com
I’m big on a green smoothie (fruit and greens). The fruit covers a lot of the too green taste and since it’s blended it’s easier to digest right now.
I think you meant other projects but it’s the first thing that came to mind.
Jensina,
nope this is totally the kind of project that I want to know about. I love smoothies, and have posted one on this blog back in Jan – it was a little green tasting (and green looking), but it did amazing things for me. I could feel the energy dancing on my tongue.
It was too expensive to drink everyday – but when I am really needing a little something extra – its the first thing I go for.
Glad to hear that the raw food/acupuncture combo is working. I have dabbled in raw foods….but have not yet been able to commit to that kind of program. Will be trying again.
Yeah I’m obviously not doing raw 100%, but I read an article about a rawfood gal who said she was sick of people making a strong point about how THEY were 95% raw and 91% raw and how THEY don’t eat animal products..she said “get over yourselves” and I was relieved. My green smoothies consist of either spinach or kale with apples. I do one a day OR 3 a day…I have no idea about expense because spousal does the shopping.
Actually she said it better…I had never heard of her (Sarma Mengailis) and this was her post about keeping it real. http://www.welikeitraw.com/rawfood/2006/01/keeping_it_real.html#more
The one that I made was a lot more involved then spinach and apples. But I like your idea too. Will definitely read her post. Thanks for sending it.
Here is the smoothie that I make occasionally. Actually now that I review the recipe -it isnt that much more involved, it just feels like it is, when I am making it.
