New Rachael Ray Products for Your RR Fan

I think it is funny that the fans of celebrity chefs want to own all the little gadgets, pots and service ware that they see on TV. I guess it is only natural. I could really care less about most of the things I see, but I do have to admit that I have always been fascinated by the plates, bowls and such that Rachael Ray uses. It has more to do with taste than the person using it. I love retro patterns and geometric shapes.
Rachael Ray recently announced two new products that she has added to her line. The Froggy Mezzaluna Knife and Cutting Board and her a copy of her famous Garbage Bowl.
Both products are reasonably priced. The mezzaluna and board are only $39.99 and the bowl is $16.95. The bowl comes in 4 colors (I love the brick). I would love to get this one, not to put my trash in, but to have as a bowl. It reminds me of the terrazzo floors we used to have in our house as a kid.
Just a word of warning…the Garbage Bowl is in high demand, so they said that shipments may not be sent until after January 9, 2008.

If there’s one thing I’ve taken away from enduring RR’s 30-Min Screaching… it’s the Garbage Bowl concept. I picked up a large, blue plastic bowl at a clearance table. With a handle, and pour spout (think pancake batter), it doubles as a mixing/pouring vessel.
But, using the GB by my cutting board, has been so handy! No more trips across the kitchen to toss scraps into the trash. And the handle makes it easy to dump. Thanks Rachey!
Did you know that odd things are a foot with http://www.VintageStoves.com owner, Stevan Thomas Radakovich, the 1940s’-1960s’ stove restorer/supplier for The Rachael Ray programs. For over a year now this man has swindled consumers (myself included), promising classic stove restorations that never existed. His exploits have been so much publicized recently that his company credit has been taken off the”Tour the Set” section of rachaelrayshow.com.
The Kansas Attorney General’s Office is in the midst of an investigation, and almost 30 complaints have been lodged with the Wichita BBB.
