New Skin

Wow, you look so pretty, all my friends told me over the weekend.
It’s the kind of thing you love to hear, except in the back of your mind you’re thinking, Man I must have been looking pretty bad to get this kind of response.
It’s subtle, but my skin is so different since I started giving blood for my hemochromatosis. I’ve given 3.5 unites of blood.
It’s not that it was the wrong color, it was just the wrong pallor.
Do you remember when I was telling you about my kid and his skin and that lady was telling me it had to be the liver? my friend asked me.
Yes, and I keep thinking about that . . . I can’t get over that I missed it. I never made the connection.
I missed it too, she said.
Yes, but it was on MY face and I knew I had a liver condition, I thought. How could I miss it? What else am I missing? Its like the time I was fat and no one told me.
My skin coloring is looking phenomenally better in a very subtle way. I look healthier.
Gone is the dark heavy mineral powder foundation.
This is a Blogtoberfest Post and it’s in honor of my new skin and a healthy liver.
Leave a comment guessing what it could be and in one week I’ll draw a winner for something supercalafradalisticexpialadocious.
I’m giving something away every day (sometimes two things) for two weeks straight, subscribe to Blog Fabulous (RSS button at top, share at bottom) so you don’t miss any Christmas hoarding opportunities (see our cool list of prizes here.
Hop around the whole b5media Lifestyle’s channel to enter for many more prizes.

Congratulations!
You look great and its good to see a smile!
I went yesterday and had tests done…
should know back sometime this week.
Thanks for everything and enjoy the new skin!
Wow, your skin DOES look fantastic!
It’s great to get an outside reward for being healthy on the inside. You look great! I guess the surprise is makeup.
I gave blood last week – no insurance so the testing will have to wait until i can afford it.
Maybe the surprise could be free testing? (wouldn’t that be nice)
Your skin looks great!
You do look great!
I’m guessing (hoping?) the surprise is one of those spa/beauty boxes full of goodies.
Awww, you look so happy and pretty. Great photo. Thanks for sharing your joy with us
Spa Treatment on the Go is my quess, you look great

Good for you! Is it moisturizer?
Tracee, you look beautiful! I love your hair, too. I think I joined blog fabulous. I will guess for….melacor!
uh, sorry, you already said melacor would be giving away some away. Phyto skin care?
It’s great that you found what was causing it, your skin looks very healthy now.
Your skin does look great. Good thing you figured out the problem.
Looking good! So glad you and your doctor were able to catch the source and fix it! Also, it’s very good news to report — I worked at a laser clinic (at the front desk) for a while and saw women come in to treat melasma with expensive laser treatments. Would be great to share this info with them at the time of their consultations — will let my former co-workers know!
On the surprise — perhaps you’re giving away Jan Marini’s Age Intervention Peptide Extreme?
Actually, after looking over the prizes again I bet it’s Age Intervention Enlighten — overlooked it!
I bet its the video Mary Poppins (supercalifragilisticexpialidosis)!
lotion
Your skin does look better!
I have no idea what you might be giving away. Your skin looks great, though!
You look great and hopefully are feeling great too
Is it a tube of lipstick for the giveaway?
Helen you look good, by just giving blood you received such remarkably results – or was it that serum you have been using? How many times have you got to give blood to have clear skin?
3 times so far Helen. Total of about 17 CCs. I go back on Wed. I’ll probably give a few more times before I’m back to perfect health and flawless skin.
The cool part is I’ll just ask a few honest friends to TELL me when I need to give more blood because my skin is getting funky again.
I thought I just wasn’t recovering from a bad sunburn. Looked it up and found you. My dad has hemachromatosis, but neglected to tell me it is inherited. I’m going to try to get tested next week. Thank you for putting this info out there. I had no idea there was a connection.
If only it were so easy for the rest of us to get rid of these darn splotches on our faces ! : ) Your skin looks so much better Tracee – that is so awesome. Maybe I should get tested before I try jaioli.
The prize for this blog has to be Age Intervention Enlighten or antioxident Daily Face Protectant Spf 30
Kudos! You look fantastic.
I would love to hear your formula. If possible please forward all or any info.
