Good afternoon, Ruth,

Wanted to send this over for possible consideration…

Many parents consider juice a healthy alternative to soda yet many of them still water down the juice to reduce the sugar content.

Although watering down juice has several benefits – less calories and less tooth decay – it’s ultimately washing away taste and nutrients.

The Dietary Guidelines for Americans note that sugars can be either naturally present in foods (such as the sugar in fruit and 100% juice) or added to food and beverages. Added sugars are incorporated into foods and beverages at the table or during processing. Although the body responds to sugars the same - whether they are naturally present in a food/beverage or added - added sugars supply calories but often few or no nutrients. Sugars naturally found in juices also deliver inherent nutrition in the form of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients.

Welch’s AquaJuice isn’t just “watered down juice” - - it combines the pure fruit juice of Welch’s and natural flavors to create a great taste that kids love with no high fructose corn syrup, added sugar or artificial sweeteners. It’s also an excellent source of vitamin C and every 8oz glass counts as one full serving of fruit with only 80 calories.

For more information or to schedule an interview with Welch’s health and nutrition manager, please feel free to contact me at 561-998-1995.

Thanks for your consideration.

Best,

If someone is stressed, its not because they are MISSING an expensive water.

If someone is overweight, its not because they are missing an expensive water with an appetite suppressant.

Until people take responsibility for their lives, and address the cause of their health problems, instead of looking to purchase a solution to their symptoms, we will always be bombareded with new, heavily marketed products that distract us from the truth.

Suppressing the appetite is ignorance and not healthy.

If your lethargic, you need to stop doing the things and eating the foods that make you tired...like coffee.

This is wack.

I tend not to trust any product coming from "big business". For starters, unless they make BPA free bottles, their product already has that toxin. Secondly, the healthiest water is simply RO water spiked with a mineral supplement that delivers all of the electrolytes then stored in a glass container. That doesn't cost much and is sure to be fluoride, chlorine, and toxin free.
