Non-Woven: New Kind of Modern Furniture

Amazing. That is what popped into my mind when I came across these really modern pieces of furniture. The name of the whole collection? Non-Woven.
These Non-Woven pieces of furniture are the creations of Christian Kocx. He has created not only furniture but he also has tinkered with created lighting pieces and home accessories.
Kocx first sent out his products for the public eye to gape at during a furniture fair which was held in Milan, Italy last April. Then, after a couple of weeks, he again showcased his prized pieces during the Dutch Design Week 2007.
Taking a look at the whole collection, I could say that they are pretty much unique and very modern. They look different but they do not look seriously misshapen or anything. And it shows that people can really create unique things from materials that don’t mean much to us anymore. Yep, these are recycled, or as he calls it, upcycled.
