Not Your Ordinary House

At first glance you may think that the homes you would be seeing are actually just ordinary homes. But the truth is, they actually do have more than your ordinary house. See, the houses that were part of the Solar Tour and were sponsored by Solar San Antonio are actually solar powered. So that means, owners of the homes would be able to save much in terms of electricity bills.
Bill Barker is Solar San Antonio’s executive director. Now on the Solar Tour and the homes that were part of that tour, he said, “It wasn’t a government demonstration, and it’s not something out in the future. These are real houses and real businesses that have solar as part of their building, and it’s no big deal. There’s more of it out there than you realize.”
Now this is an amazing thing. I mean, if you were part of a tour that included you being in the presence of a solar-powered home, you surely would be taking much time thinking about solar-powering your own abode. Now this is a real good way to tell more people about the benefits of solar power.
