Notepaper from Quilt Photos

If you take photos of your quilts and patchwork projects, you may want to convert them into cards and notepaper. With today’s digital cameras, scanners and computer programs you have many techniques at your fingertips to use.

Due to copyright issues, these must be photos of your own work and ones you’ve taken. If you’re involved in a family project, as my daughter, granddaughter and I are, then you can take photos of one another’s projects to use with their okay.

Learn to drape your quilts and arrange them in artistic displays. Take photos indoors and out. Learn about various types of lighting that may enhance your photos and give you different effects.

In addition to creating quilt art with your quilted and patchwork projects, you may develop an artistic talent as a photographer of quilts. Then other quilters may want you to photo their quilts and patchwork projects.
