NSW Proposing Solar-Heated Water For Home Use

Peter Debnam is the opposition leader of NSW and he is proposing that families and home owners should be using solar powered showers and hot water heaters. Such a plan is backed up by Michael Richardson, the country’s Shadow Environment Minister.

Both Debnam and Richardson are also saying that so as to see this into reality, they are offering people $1000 worth in rebate so that they could install such systems in homes of those who are interested.

Debnam prevails, “We need to think globally and act locally when it comes to tackling climate change in NSW.” And with confidence, he adds, “If elected Premier, I will immediately take action to begin addressing climate change in NSW, starting with the family home.”

He does have a real good point which he further emphasizes by saying, “Electric water heating is the single largest producer of greenhouse gas emissions in the average home. I want to help families to make the switch to solar hot water so they can save energy, save money and reduce their impact on the planet.”
