Off the Track: Heel Shock Absorbers

Dr Scholls Ball of Foot

As much as I want to be exercising all the time (I’m only half-joking; I’m feeling motivated today), I feel like we don’t take enough time to dedicate ourselves to foot comfort in the heel world. While a few of my pairs of high heels are comfortable enough to go all day long, many of them aren’t– and I need to start treating my feet better! Here’s what these inserts, one of my most recent finds, have to offer you:

* Massaging gels that reminds me of the first-aid stuff you use for burns. (You know, the stuff that cools instantly upon contact? Amazing.)
* A sticky part inside that won’t muss up your best Italian leather footwear.
* A cool shape that allows you to actually wear open-toed shoes without showing off your extra padding.

Don’t these sound like a dream? If you haven’t kitted out your high heels yet, I highly recommend it.

I will definitely recommend this to other people (women) I know. I use a soft padding on the bottom of my shoes for extra comfort, but I definitely know women who would benefit (a LOT) by putting these with their heels.

I know. . . myself included. I have a few “special” pairs of heels that still need to get outfitted with heel pads and the like.
