Office Romance Tips

According to Forbes – four out of ten people recently surveyed by the Society of Human Resource Managers and CareerJournal.com reported that they had dated someone from work.
Vault.com also conducted a poll that showed the results of 58% admitting they have done the same at some point in their careers. And, 43% admitted to at least one romance going on now in their place of business.
Forbes also offers up several tips for those office romances that should be taken into consideration if you are one of those who dare to pursue such a relationship.

Office romances can be some of the toughest and I’m sure there are many who are debating whether or not to act on their attractions.
I really wouldn’t recommend it. I’ve had one, in violation of what I’ve said I’d never do. Bleh. It’ll always be complicated especially if things don’t work out between the two of you.
My tip is to have a blast while it lasts! Do your best to make it worth the crap you’re going to feel when your “Office Romance” is dunzo and you’ve got to face curious coworkers, the Devil and the framed photo of his new girlfriend glaring from his desk 8+ hours a day, 5 days a week… . . .
