I went through a stage where I belonged to a contesting group – the site owner would provide us with daily listings of contests. I had to be the absolutely UNluckiest of all the contesters because in three years of contesting, I won three things, as opposed to the others who would whine if they didn’t win anything in a week!

During that time, I entered some month contests at Brault & Martineau, a Quebec furniture chain and one day I got a call – I’d won the wine cellar.

It’s a beautiful piece of furniture and I do love good wine. My DH wanted me to sell it, but when would I ever get something so frivolous again? {grin}
