Oh drat!

Just when I thought it was safe to come back out of hiding, Joshua “Junk Man” Johnson went and tagged me to tell seven random things about myself that you might not know. On both blogs, the brat! Well, I’ll fix him…I’m going to post the same list on both blogs >:-) So while I would normally encourage you to read Jewelry & Beading as well as Layers Upon Layers, you can at least skip that one post!
So here are the seven random things:
- My undergraduate major was Classical Greek language and literature. Can you say, “Do you want fries with that?”
- My master’s degree is in Folklore & Folklife. Maybe it’s not ultra-practical either, but at least I’m no longer serving up fries.
- I went from teaching in a federal penitentiary and teaching in summer programs for juvies to teaching in a very nice college (they finally let me out of lock-up).
- I have the best husband in the world and two of the greatest kids on the planet. OK, well most of you probably already know that about me
- After running the Boston Marathon several times, my running buddies decided that we needed to run across the Grand Canyon. It was the hardest and best run I ever did.
- My son’s wife got so mad at something he said when they first met that she “never wanted to see him again.” Now they’re living in Green Bay, Wisconsin, which happens to be the home of the football team that I was nuts about when I was a kid, for no particular reason other than the name sounded cool And they won a lot of games.
- Actually, I lied about serving up fries. I never worked fast food, but I did shovel up manure and sell fertilizer several summers.
So, my friends that I’m tagging (who may never speak to me again) are as follows:
Noreen @ Hankering For Yarn
Farley @ Behind the Vines
Heather @ Chocolate Bytes
Tracey @ Foodie Obsessed
Marye @ Kettle & Cup
Mary Emma @ Quilting & Patchwork
Kristen @ Lively Women

Friendship over! No, no, just kidding. Memes are fun. Thanks!

LOL!!!
Oh no! Ok, I’m going to see what I can come up with!
I’m sorry! Blame Josh…
Folklore and literature sound really interesting. They don’t sound like they are any easier to earn a living from than art though.
LOL! Not practical at all, but at least with a master’s degree it’s easier to get teaching jobs
Tagged….boy, this will keep me from not paying attention to what is going on in the channel….now to try some one who hasn’t been hit!
Hit people from other channels if you like. I did
