On: Chemo Brain

Friday I went in to the HR department of my new job to fill out paperwork so that I won’t have to do mountains of it when I start. I filled out the forms with my usual quickness, double checked them to make sure I had everything done correctly, and then spent a good amount of time chatting it up with the HR woman.

About six hours later I’m at home looking for a new home phone provider when I realized that I’d put the wrong house number on all of the forms. Instead of 6021 I put 6201 (not my real house number, by the way). In my new job I’m required to develop documentation that a lot of employees will be relying on for accurate and concise information and I can’t even get my flippin’ address right?!? I’m going to have to call her tomorrow and let her know about the mistake. Geez. I keep forgetting that I still have chemo brain on some occasions.
