On Rainy Days and the Umbrella

It’s raining today and it got me thinking. Some people may see this weather as crappy since it can mean a bit of discomfort. Traffic may be bad, possible flood, hard to commute. But amidst all these bad things happening, it may do us good to look at the bright side. Perhaps it can be a great way to show concern to that special someone. Or find a way to get a bit physically close (flirting time!) with that person you like. Or even meet someone new who can be a potential romantic prospect.

How can all this be possible? Well, it’s simply with the use of that functional tool you use to shield off the rain. The everyday umbrella. Heehee.

I guess I really don’t have to go on and paint a picture for you, yeah? This is just me making something out of the mundane. I believe in being resourceful even in the whole dating scene.

I wish I have a great anecdote to share to you guys but I don’t have any. I reckon if any of you readers of Dating Dames have a cute story to tell which involves an umbrella in a rainy day, do share! I’d love to hear it!

I once had a wonderful walk on a rainy day with a handsome man who shared his umbrella with me. It didn’t turn into a great romance, but it was a confidence-building flirtation I remember fondly.
