One Day in History

October 25, 2006 by Heather Goldsmith

I only just discovered the One Day in History journal/blog writing event today. First I thought I’d missed out completely, but on searching for the History Matters website I discovered you can join in until 31st October, as long as you’re living in the UK.

That shouldn’t stop you using this excellent writing prompt in your own journal or on your blog. The website encourages blog entries to be between 100 and 1000 words and should be about the one day October 17th this year.

Even if you don’t use this prompt, I’m sure you’ll be interested to read the entries when they go live after 31st October. I’ll keep you informed when the entries are available for you to read online. The event is being promoted as the biggest blog event in history.
