One of those weeks

This has been one of those weeks where work’s been crazy, we’ve been out every evening (basketball tournament time), and, getting home well after we should have eaten dinner.

We’ve been good about eating at home rather than stopping at a drive-thru, but, since I’m not all that good at planning ahead, it’s getting harder to throw something together for dinner.

The kids have rebelled against soup since I made a huge pot last weekend, and, I’d probably be arrested if I cooked another pizza. So, tonight I delved into my ingredients for emergency dinner, and, all was well.

Though we’ve eaten, not much has gotten done in the way of chores, homework other than the bare minimum, and, proper bed times. I’d love to say tomorrow’s going to be better, but, it probably won’t.

We’ll do what we can, but, I think this is shaping up to be pone of those weeks where we just have to “reset” over the weekend, and, start again on Monday.
