Online Metabolic & Molecular Bases of Inherited Disease (OMMBID)
Scriver’s Online Metabolic & Molecular Bases of Inherited Disease (OMMBID) now has a blog! I must admit when I received an email from Dr. Philippe Campeau about the OMMBID blog, I got it confused with the Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man (OMIM). OMMBID appears to be more comprehensive, however, and includes information from OMIM.
Dr. Charles R. Scriver is the Senior Editor of The Metabolic and Molecular Bases of Inherited Disease, 4 volume set. The OMMBID blog not only aims to provide recent news and information on the genetics of inherited diseases, it allows anyone to register as a contributor. And those of you who might not feel up to par need not fear.
Contributions are not screened on the basis of their intellectual content. We encourage contributors to freely discuss and debate.
