Online Quilting Information

November 9, 2005 by Mary Emma Allen

The Internet has become a wealth of information for the quilter. She’s no longer quilting at home, sometimes seeming in a vacuum. Through the Internet, she has contact with other quilters via e-mail groups, chat rooms, and blogs. There are quilting sites with information and classes, along with fabrics and quilting accessories for sale.

Information about almost anything relating to quilting is obtainable. If you don’t have a specific web site URL to type into the search engine, simply use the words, “quilting,” “patchwork,” “quilt shows,” “quilt history,” “quilt classes,” a quilter’s name, etc.

You’ll come up with an almost endless list of sites where you can obtain the information you desire.
