moorekutcher-2Starting us off, a modern home, in California. Serene and surprisingly private, It also happens to be owned by MooreKutcher [via Curbed LA] (hehehe….sorry didn’t mean to, didn’t notice until I re-read the post). The home is going to be featured in the March issue of Architectural Digest . I was moved reading about how Demi and her kids, fell in love with this house. The home has some history too, go read about it at Big Time Listings. Looking at this bathroom (first thing that pops in my head) can you NOT help but imagine Demi in the shower!

We better move on.

How about living in a dream? This 15/16 century chateau has me imagining I was a poet who loves long horse rides and tending to my garden.

chateau-1

This chateau appears to be centered on a hillside with views of trees and vineyards. I am not sure how the metric system works but, they say this home has a total of 1200 sqm/1300 s.f. of living space with 11 bedrooms. That can’t be right. It is listed for 1,320,000 pounds? What is that in dollars? $670,000? [via tcogni]

chateau-2

Back here in the U.S., in the beautiful state of Maine, I found this cool modern home (below). It has 3200 s.f. and a lake view for $1,850,000.00. That works out to $578.00 per square foot, not bad for it’s impressive amenities. [via sellmodern]
