Oprah: Inside the Lives of Hoarders

Oprah was such an amazing show yesterday. I just wanted to roll up my sleeves and get in there to help. For those of you who didn’t see it, it was about the lives of hoarders and what they go through. It is so emotional for them.

This particular episode was an intervention done by a woman’s children. After talking to her for a couple of hours they were able to get her to agree to have the Oprah Show come help her.  Let me just say that this woman is brave. She laid it all out there for the world to see because she wanted to change. Kudos to her and her family.

You can see pictures and read about yesterday’s show at Inside a Hoarder’s Home.

Also, be sure and catch part 2 today: The Road to Recovery.  I’m looking forward to the reveal. That’s always one of my favorite parts.

  1. I watched a few minutes of the first show. Unbelievable! She did make herself very vulnerable. I think they’re getting the woman some help so that she doesn’t go back to where she was.

  2. Julie says:

I hope they get her ongoing help or she’ll be right where she started from in a few years. I can’t imagine her going back to that lifestyle and I could tell that she doesn’t ever want to be there again. She’s one step ahead of the curve since she has such a supportive family.
