Organizing Ideas from Catalogs

I just received my Pottery Barn catalog in the mail and after I’m done with this post, it’s me, a glass of wine, my bed and my catalog. :) I have an out-of-control love for catalogs and magazines. But, being the self-controlled woman that I am, I only buy and subscribe to the best and throwing one away doesn’t make me go into convulsions.

One thing that I absolutely love about certain catalogs are the great organizing ideas I get. I just flipped through the Pottery Barn one real quick and saw a great mudroom that had all the essentials to keeping that area running smoothly.

So, when you get a catalog in the mail, take a minute to study the pictures and see what ideas you can find. Just remember though that your house doesn’t have to look catalog perfect. :)

I am not a big fan of magazines or catalogs either, but my mother lives by her catalog and magazines. She has graciously volunteered to go through all of hers as they come in and create a wonderful binder that I take with me to clients that I can show them the different products and options!

    It’s GREAT!

I’m in my mid-forties and I can remember the very first magazines and catalogs I received as a kid and I was hooked. How much more entertainment and info can you get for basically $12 per year?!
