Organizing Your Quilting Work Space

May 5, 2006 by Mary Emma Allen

Since my daughter has to use a portion of the living/dining room for her quilting and fabric art space in our multi-generatioal home, she had become very frustrated with the disorder her work created and her lack of storage space.  After considering several solutions, she came up with one that is very workable…until she can get a room of her own.

Beth posted some pictures of this on her blog (http://meanderingthreads.blogspot.com/)

Other quilters may have similar challenges, so I began researching resources.  You may want to check out the following book, Creating Your Perfect Quilting Space: Sewing-Room Makeovers for Any Space and Any Budget by Lois L. Hallock.
