Go Claire indeed! “Normal” guys are over-rated, give me the slightly off beat, quirky and or a wee bit nerdy anyday. I’ll be married to my not so normal guy for 14 years this June (and together for 17).

The Young Men’s Christian Association taught me to swim when I was small, so hold them in in a warm place in my virtual heart.

There was a gal who sat next to me in Second Grade, whom I lost track of when I was skipped from third to fourth grade.

She was my Sweet Baboo, as Charlie Brown would have it.

That would have been in 1957, maybe.

If she’s reading this, I remember that she said, at the age of 7 or so,

“When I die, I want to be buried in crayon shavings!”

My oldest daughter wants to marry my friend’s son whose Asperger diagnosis fits him to an absolute perfect T.

I know they’re just 8 and 13 but a mother can dream, right?

I’m tickled pink that my little first grader has a “girlfriend” and another girl as a friend! He invited them to his birthday party 2 weeks ago. They get all giggly with him! They give him little pink bears, he comes home with his pockets stuffed with girly stuff, and notes, with hearts all over them and prominent “love so-and-so” signatures! I guess they like the “strong silent type”, mysterious, they can do all the talking!

I don’t know how long it will last, but I will enjoy it to the max now! I told their moms that they were doing a great job raising their girls!

Yeah to girls like Claire! You go, girl!

Goodness me if girls only dated normal guys what would happen to the likes of me?

Ok I have not had the most successful of relationships in my life, but in defence I say that there are women who have found me sexy in a Byronic way: mad, bad and dangerous to know.
