Pages 2 and 3: Wedding Anniversary Album

These are pages 2 and 3 of the Wedding Anniversary Album project.

I titled it “To have and to hold from this day forward” as lifted from the traditional wedding vows.

Tips:
1. To achieve the continuity on the photos from one end of the layout to the next (opposite page), I cropped the photos to the same size. When you see them all fitting nicely like this, it gives you the impression that it’s easy but it takes a bit of measuring here and there to ensure that the photos are cropped to the right size and that when you crop, you don’t cut out the important bits (like the people in the photos!). I have cut the middle photo into two. One half on each side of the layout.
2. You can make your own square page pebbles! What I did was printed the date and church onto the patterned paper (I tried this on scrap paper first to make sure the text would fit within the square tags), cut the paper to size and adhered the transparent square page pebbles to the paper and ta-da, your own embellishment!

3. As a time-saver, I used square shape for the embellishments (i.e. square page pebbles, square brads, square swirly thingy) and photos as the ‘dominant’ theme and technique on all the pages of the album and added the ribbons as accent.
