Paid Sick Days

Play this game to see how absurd it is that many employees have no sick days.

Doesn’t apply to you? Think again, your waitress or cook may be passing a virus on to you right now.

  1. My husband works at a restaurant. The only time he’s allowed to take a sick day (unpaid) is if he’s throwing up or in the hospital.

So colds? Flu? He’s at work. He’s also an EMT, so he washes his hands and arms RELIGIOUSLY, to where they get really dry, but still he’s working while sick because he has to.
